Through aggressive media campaigns, community grants and other tools Palmetto Pride and the Litter Control Association work to increase awareness and target those who violate the litter laws, remind everyone of the importance of having pride in our communities; the social and economic effect litter has on our state and that we all need to do our part to eliminate litter in our state.

Through awareness we find many avenues for our fight against litter in our state. This can come from grants, public announcements, grassroots campaigns and other efforts. If we all continue to promote the fight against litter we will see great results in the way of awareness throughout our state and country. It all starts with that first step.
