Senator Thomas has been a true inspiration to the many organizations in South Carolina that fight against litter. He stands for excellence in matters concerning litter, and we are proud to have him represent our efforts in Columbia. He is always willing to speak at Litter Control functions and works diligently to help make South Carolina a better state for all. We thank him for his great leadership and we are proud to have him on our “Heroes Page”.
No one person has had a greater impact on the Litter Control Association and the growth of Litter Enforcement in South Carolina than Don Arnold. Don is a true inspiration to everyone that meets him and he works hard at spreading the word on litter control and enforcement in the state. During his time as the association President, he was instrumental in expanding the boundaries of Litter Officers throughout the state. He worked to make the Litter Control Association become a strong organization working with legislators at the state capital. He is a true ambassador of our cause and stands ready to help whenever needed. If you have ever had the pleasure of hearing Don speak at a conference, you have seen the passion that he possesses in the battle against trash. He is a motivation to individuals throughout the state when it comes to litter control. Oh, and I must also add that he proclaims to have the most perfect head on this planet!!! Don, we are proud to have you on our hero page. Job well done!

Ryan is seen accepting the South Carolina Litter Control Association's President's Leadership Award from Jim Pennington, the City Manager of Hartsville. Ryan was given this award for his incredible leadership and hard work in the area of Litter Prevention and Control. He is the Central Regional Director for the SCLCA, and a big part of the success of that Region.
